A 180x20 level made for the Runolympics LLLDing Contest. The theme was 4k (where the total amount of tiles in your level must not exceed 4000), and this is my entry. This is a pretty solid level. It's definitely fun, the graphics are great and there isn't a major complaint I can give it.

A few small nitpicks though:

1) Sometimes I would enter transitions and the colour/darkness wouldn't kick in.
2) Some warning about the gravity change would've been nice. I died because I didn't realise the spinning planets had their own gravity.
3) The ending felt a little cheap and out of nowhere. Those 4 beasts were borderline impossible, I only beat them because I spent most of my time dodging.

Overall, this is a solid 4/5 (technically a 4.5/5, but that isn't a rating)

That's what makes it nontrivial, it's a sort of difficulty highlight to achieve the end portal, and the dark beasts are a real threat to be taken seriously, making you to show your true fighting skills.

Not necessarily. To me 5/5 means the level is perfect, and this level had flaws. Small flaws, yeah, but flaws nonetheless.

That dark beast part was a bit bland, is what I was trying to say. You can say it was difficult but difficulty shouldn't mean 4 powerful enemies grouped up in a small arena.

Jokes aside, yeah, I can say for myself that part was kind of rushed tbh, and the Darkness trigger did not help on seeing where are the beasts. I initially planned it for the player to explore all the areas and kill all the beasts on each area so the portal would be unlocked, but that ended up being too much work, so I just decided to stick with what are you seeing right there.

It's probable that I will edit this level and add more content to it; I'm not quite happy with it as of now.

You can reflect them with any melee weapon, but there's so many at once trying to do so will only lead to you getting hit.

I really love this kind of maps who make you hyped when you see the screenshots. Honestly ,I was entertained on this level. The whole level is easy but he is so original ,he gave me a lot of design ideas haha.
But this have some little bad points


first ,at the "you hear something [...]" you could have made a sound effect. This level is silent. The only things I could hear were the normal sound effects ,if you see what I mean. not a big thing but still something you can work on.

secondly ,I tried to go at the right of the screen after I saw this message and I saw you made the tiles who block the character to the left of the transition. If you do it to the very right ,you will see player wont see these but will not be able to pass too. just a little tip.

also ,I has to click three times on the npcs (teleportation for exemple) to activate the teleporting. I dont know how to fix it but its still a bad point :/

You made the whole level bright but a ghost hitted me and he got the same color as the tree who was behind him. The level is really good bright like this ,but for the ennemies I dont think the same thing.

And for the terrible last fight who is really easy when you have tons of Dark Beasts you could put an heart ,I was really stressed when I got only one heart lel

And the end was really good. I loved when the earthquake spawned just before the end ,maybe it will have a sequel?

With a really good gameplay except at the end ,if this design wasn't that repetitive ,it would be a lot better than Lost In Dark. For me its really original! I dont liked the blue planets with ice and bricks but the rest was a-we-some. Also I loved the effect in the throns ,can you tell me how to make these please? it would be really good!

So ,I give you 4.5 , for me its one of the best LL maps ,you made really good work on it!
