There might be some serious competition for Last Legacy’s level designer soon. Because Nintendo recently announced it’s new game, Mario Maker. Which is a old school styled Mario level creating game. From what has been shown already, it seems that players can already create a lot of unique and clever levels. Players can create ridiculous levels with mountains of enemies bouncing around on springs, or even place wings on enemies to create flying koopas and even flying goombas!
Even with all these features, what leaves me a bit worried is that I have yet to see any vertical camera movement. Which might be a big hindrance on the complexity of the level designs. In my hype for this game, I managed find this (somewhat underrated) video giving his opinions on what Nintendo’s Mario Maker “needs” to have.
We’ll see if Nintendo delivers anything on this person’s wishlist. But as for Last Legacy, I want to ask you, how many things on his list can the Last Legacy level designer do already? And what do YOU think the Last Legacy level designer needs?

How about the items shown in the pictures in runouw.com/images/other?

Hmm… It’s possible to see in the video that everything is more simple and easy to do, just like the koopas, where you can change their position by just touching them in a certain way. What if the LL Level Designer followed the same way?

The ability to add background stuff, inclusive of scenery.

The Level Designer needs the ability to create or import custom objects.

How? Because as far as I know, it is possible to copy and paste objects from a windows to another.

I know I’ve said this before, and I know it has already been heard, but I want to say it again:
Enemy-drop properties. I seriously think the Level Designer needs this.
